If he's available in your league, (which is rapidly becoming less likely by the second) then grab him NOW. Passing on this kid is not something you’ll want on your conscious as the season enters its last month and a half of play. Through 104 games with AAA Iowa, Baez’s line sits at a sultry .260/.323/.510 with 80 RBI, including 23 bombs. The kid can run too, as he’s swiped 16 bags on the year. Baez can flat out hit, and will provide owners with legitimate power at the middle infield position. A shortstop, he will quickly earn dual eligibility at second base as that will be his landing spot in The Show. Baez is a middle infielder with outfielder power, and will be owned in every league by this time tomorrow. “Regrets…I’ve had a few…” need not apply, go get him!
